We would like to share some important points regarding transactions processed through Stripe, our payment processing partner. First and foremost, Stripe is known for its robust security measures, ensuring that every transaction is encrypted and securely processed. It's important for our users to be aware that Stripe charges a fee for each transaction, details of which can be found on their website or through your Stripe account. In other words, we do not handle payment transactions directly. Instead, these are processed by Stripe.
Stripe's system is designed to detect and prevent fraudulent activities, but this also means that some legitimate transactions might be flagged for additional review. In such cases, prompt communication with Stripe's support team is crucial. It's also worth noting that Stripe's processing times for payments may vary, which can impact the timeline for funds appearing in your account.
Here is some important points to know:
For security reason,there is a mandatory delay of one week before the first payout is processed. We understand that this waiting period can be challenging, especially for businesses where cash flow is crucial. After that waiting period the next payouts generally take between 1 and 3 days.
Stripe's information on the first payoutIn the event of a chargeback, you are responsible for the lost revenue. This situation arises when a customer disputes a transaction, and the charge is reversed, leading to a loss of funds on your end. However, it is important to know that you have the right to contest a chargeback from the Stripe's Dashboard. To do this effectively, you must provide sufficient evidence that the transaction was legitimate and that the product or service was delivered as agreed.
Refunds will not refund the transaction fees.
Here is some things to validate if your client isn't able to pay by credit card.
Go to Settings | Payment Account, then Stripe. Ensure Stripe is linked to your account.
Go to Settings | Payment Account, then Stripe. Ensure Credit Card payment is Allowed.
Go to Settings | Payment Account, then Stripe. Validate the maximum credit card payment amount allowed. This is the maximum allowed for one payment.
Go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/dashboard and log in your Stripe account to follow the payout and validate that your account still allow credit card payments. Sometime Stripe require more information and can disable payments and payouts if not answered after a certain delay.
